Pathways to Learning (P2L)

Supporting Women & Children • Nurturing Confidence • Building Skills • Creating Opportunities

Overview

Pathways to Learning (P2L) is a coordinated, in-person English language and digital learning program for Afghan refugee and immigrant women, with on-site childcare and preschool readiness activities for their young children. Classes are held within walking distance of the community, helping make learning accessible for women and their families.

While women build the skills and confidence they need for greater independence in everyday life, their children learn and play in a welcoming environment that supports early learning and school readiness.

P2L is welcoming, culturally responsive, and grounded in an understanding of the experiences women bring with them. This two-generation approach creates opportunities for women and their children to learn, grow, and thrive together.
